Odeh Group has been established in 2005 and is led by Dr. Ibrahim Odeh as principal consultant. Dr Odeh brings over a three decades of robust project experience in development, management and engineering for projects worth US$ hundreds of millions and has directly overseen the development, engineering, management, construction, and commissioning of many of operational commercial and utility scale solar PV projects.

The German Federal Ministry for Research and Technology and the German
Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation have sponsored the project that was
implemented by the GTZ, and Muenchen University from Germany and the

Providing Water for communities in remote areas was considered as a challenge
for the water authority of Jordan. This feasibility study has discussed the
different possible options for providing water in remote areas and its
techno-economic feasibility. Detailed comparison between solar powered and
diesel powered systems has been analyzed and intensively investigated. As a
result, many diesel powered systems have been replaced by PV powered systems. |

In Jordan, Water Authority of Jordan (WAJ) provided the well where as the
Renewable Energy Research Centre at the Royal Scientific Society (RSS) has
conducted all studies, installed the systems and the data logger, operate,
test, evaluate and developed the system over four continuous years. All
relevant documentation of the studies and the progress, activity, and final
reports was prepared and presented for the concerned ministries and agencies. |
